Ashlee Roussey, DPT

Dr. Roussey recently officially moved to Portland, Indiana to join our team after earning her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Trine University. She completed most of her clinical rotations locally with Parkview Hospital, Parkview Randallia Hospital and Parkview Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Roussey is excited to share her knowledge and expertise with her patients. She enjoys working with people on all levels of activity, from the very young to the mature. Her diverse background in sports gives her a unique clinical perspective, as she was both a dancer and played volleyball. She really enjoys the challenge of preparing athletes to return to their sport; however, if you ask her what inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy, the conversation becomes very personal for her.

Dr. Roussey’s father suffers from the debilitating disease, multiple sclerosis. Having been involved in his care and rehabilitation from a young age, has made a profound and lasting impression on her. According to Dr. Roussey, “My father continues to be a great influence in my life. It was only natural for me to follow passion for helping others as I have seen first-hand the positive impact physical therapy has had in my father’s life.”

Dr. Roussey is currently taking appointments and will continue to work under the direct supervision of Roy Adams for the next several months.
